Google will discontinue Gmail app for BlackBerry
End support for Google Gmail app on BlackBerry smartphones in November 22
"In recent years we have build a great experience in the Gmail mobile browser oriented and will continue to invest in this area," Google said in a blog post. "Users can continue using the app, if it is installed, but it will not be supported by Google" or available for download starting 22nd November.
Last week Google released its own Gmail app from Apple's App Store for iOS devices - such as iPhone, iPod Touch and iPhone - but the apartment was filled with problems.
Google quickly pulled the app from the App Store, apologized for shipping an incomplete product, and said that a solution was coming. So far, no new IOS Gmail application is delivered.
The company also produces a native Gmail app for Android, but none of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7-software.
